December 2006

This month I have a simple lamp to show. Eagle rays.

November 2006

We just had the one year anniversary of Hurricane Wilma. The island is green again, and signs of the hurricane are few. Tourism has been slower, but paradise regained.

This month I'll show another turtle lamp with a new twist. It's called TURTLE CAVE.

October 2006

I just realized September came and went and I forgot to post a piece of the month. Well, the gallery has a new AC unit and a fresh coat of paint. That was my major accomplishment.

My favorite pice this month is the following...

February 2006

Things are slowly returning to normal here. Tourism is still down, but should improve. The biggest news is we have saved our palapa that was damaged. After months of waiting for the "palaperos" to free themselves up from all the work they have, they finally showed up and replaced the posts that were broken. It's as good as new.

Glasswise, the following lamp was definately my favorite this month. turtle ballet-light off

January 2006

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

December was a good month. I went to Tucson, Arizona to blow glass, and came back with a ton of new pieces to work on. I worked at Alex Adams' studio, Glass Attack. We had a great time working together, and hope to do it again someday. The foto below shows some of the new lamps that I will engrave. They will be hanging lamps. Aside from those, I have a new background color, yellow, to play with. Also made some arch lamp pieces double the size of the normal arch lamps. All in all, it was a successful trip. I would like to thank Alex, Kimberley, Katie, Ursula, and the three carrot eaters. A special thanks to Ali Baba.
